am an experienced systems engineering consultant with experience in New
Product Development, Product and Process improvement, Requirements Definition
and Management, Validation and Verification. I am experienced with DOORs,
SLATE, and other SE tools. I have a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering
with an MBA and a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering. My experience
spans numerous industries including Aerospace, Nuclear, Composites and Molded
Rubber Products, Heavy Equipment Manufacturing, and others.
I am a Certified Value Specialist (CVS) through SAVE
International and a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) through the
Society of Manufacturing Engineers. I also have a Masters Certificate in
Project Management and I am a Certified Six Sigma yellow belt. I have
experience in consulting and training in Value Analysis and Value Engineering,
Lean Product Development (Lean Six Sigma), and Systems Engineering.
I am accustomed to fast paced projects where
deadlines are a priority and handling multiple tasks is the norm. I have lead
product development teams and been a lead systems engineer for requirements
management teams. I have also had experience as a project manager responsible
for planning and execution of project plans, estimating, earned value and
